REV. EDWARD & ROSEMARIE NOFTZ
Pastor Ed and Rosemarie were both born southwest PA, not far from Pittsburgh. They have been married for 28 years and have two grown children, Michaela and Nathaniel. Michaela is married to Zach and they have one child who is the pride and joy of “Mimi” and “Papi”. Michaela serves in ministry like her dad, while Zach is a police officer. Nathaniel is still in college and hopes to be a university professor and writer one day. Pastor Ed and Rosemarie have been working together in ministry for over 27 years. Pastor Ed was a Children’s Pastor at two churches, Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown, PA and First Assembly of God in Binghamton, NY. The Noftz still have a heart for families and love seeing children grow in their faith. After that, Pastor Ed and Rosemarie ministered at New Life Assembly of God in Tamaqua, PA. Pastor Ed was Senior Pastor and Rosemarie worked at the church doing office work and ministry. They were both involved in the community and the school. In November of 2021, Pastor Ed was elected to the Senior Pastor role here at Calvary Assembly of God. Rosemarie now works as a Patient Services Representative in a doctor’s office. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with friends and video chatting with her granddaughter. Pastor Ed enjoys coaching, playing and watching sports. He coaches youth soccer in Chester. He and Nathaniel like to play tennis and golf. Please don’t hate him for this, but he is a fan of the Penguins, Pirates, and Steelers and roots for the University of Pittsburgh, also. The Noftz endeavor to live their lives Loving God and Loving People.
REV. Dustin & DeLeassa Penland
Pastor Dustin and his wife, Dee, have been married for 25 years and have worked in ministry together throughout their marriage. Their life together started in Oklahoma but changed dramatically in 2002 when they graduated from college, sought God's direction, and moved to the Bronx in New York City. Dustin served as a Missionary Associate for KidCare America, an after-school program, at Trinity Assembly of God in the Lower East Side of Manhattan for three years. While at Trinity, Dustin and Dee also served in various roles, including as children's pastors and youth leaders. In 2015, Pastor Dustin and Dee helped launch a church plant in Queens, NY, as the associate pastors of CityReach Queens. In 2018, Pastor Dustin and Dee joined another church plant in the Bronx, Newsong Church, where they served as associate pastors, leading and overseeing the church's DreamTeam. Pastor Dustin worked as a full-time teacher until he moved to Monroe in March 2025. He has over 20 years of experience teaching Middle School in both Christian and public schools. Pastor Dustin has a God given passion to teach youth and to equip the church to reach others with the love of Jesus. He brings that passion to his current role as Associate Pastor at Calvary Assembly of God. In addition to ministry, the Penlands have five children and consider their role as parents one of the most important callings in their lives. Outside of spending time with his children, Pastor Dustin enjoys sports, traveling to new places, spicy foods, and watching Steelers football!
